About

Small cafe. Big opinions.
Loud coffee.

Prince Cafe started in 2020 with a single grinder, two tables, and one very firm opinion: that a cafe should have personality. Five years on, we're still a tiny independent in 4th Block, Koramangala — loud, colourful, occasionally chaotic, always opinionated.

We roast in small batches on Wednesdays. We bake bread at 5am. We host open mics, jazz brunches, pottery Sundays, and one very good annual birthday bash. We don't do quiet luxury. We do decent espresso and good moods.

“We opened with one grinder, two tables, and a very specific opinion about masala chai. Five years on, the opinion hasn't changed.”

Five years, abridged.

  1. 2020

    The grinder arrived

Two tables, one grinder, zero plan. Opened a month before the lockdown. Sold coffee through a window for a year.

  2. 2021

    First menu

Five sandwiches, three sweets, no plates with edges. The Cherry Red Cappuccino went on sale — sold out every day for a month.

  3. 2022

    Moved next door

Took over the neighbouring plot. Added the patio, the long table, the very loud espresso machine.

  4. 2023

    Open mic began

First Friday, every month. Started small, now routinely overbooked.

  5. 2024

    Roasted in-house

Took roasting off outsourcing. Small batch, every Wednesday. Beans from Chikmagalur, Coorg, Araku.

  6. 2025

    Five years

Still here. Still loud. Still making one good cup at a time.
